A couple of Sundays ago, my son looked at me and said ‘Mom, please just put your phone down’. OUCH. It stung. In that moment, I was taken out of my head, off of my phone, and immediately transported into reality.  What example was I setting?

In our hyper-connected, plugged-in-at-all-times world, it can sometimes feel like a major challenge to turn it off.

To just unplug.

To take yourself out of the guilt of the past, or the anxiety of the future, and nestle yourself into the beautiful present.

WE KNOW that the present is where the most delicious moments are. Where the WOWs take place. Where the magic happens.  It’s where the deep, meaningful connection occurs.

DEEP CONNECTION WITH OUR LITTLES IS THE HIGHEST PRIORITY

I’m a mama of two. Meaningful connection with my family is precious. No screen-time is necessary.  For myself and my husband, yes. But more than this, for our little sponges who are soaking up our every move. For our children, who deeply desire, and have the right to, our undivided attention.

I MADE A VOW. SUNDAYS ARE FOR FAMILY. FOR BEING PRESENT. FOR GETTING CONNECTED.

Signing off, I’m heading to the beach with the littles. How are you going to connect with your family today?
